Most of these haiku would be considered within R. H. Blyth’s category of “human affairs.” With our world in so much turmoil, we have chosen the theme of “relationships” as the theme for October’s Haiku of the Day. With these poems we explore the nature of relationships through the lens of haiku. The poems selected stir memories of moments with nature, beloved birds, cats, and dogs, close friends, children, family, lovers, and even ourselves.
