Fresh ’Ku: The Haiku Foundation’s New Look
The Haiku Foundation welcomes you to its new and refreshed look for 2026. We have not made major changes, but have tweaked our colors, shuffled our content, and brought emphasis to some things that might not have had as much exposure as we felt it should. We hope you enjoy the new look.
We realize change is hard, so here are some hints to finding what you want.
First of all, notice the new feature: Haiga of the Day complements our long-standing Haiku of the Day, and brings you a visual greeting to match our verbal one.
Notice too our new Highlights section, where you’ll find all the newest things happening on the site, along with recent developments, haiku in the news, and of course all the doings of the Foundation.
We have tried to make more apparent to those new to the site who we are and what we do, so you will find our Mission Statement more prominently positioned, and our latest blog offerings arrayed with less clutter. And we have simplified the map of the site so you may more readily find your way.
Finally, to make all this easier to parse, we offer Finding Things On Our Site, which we hope speeds your search and brings you home to the poems, resources and interactions that have brought you here. Welcome to The Haiku Foundation, and we hope you enjoy your time with us.

Looks great! Was just rereading a bunch of “Bookstories”. Would love to see some more of those done (looks like 2016 was the last one) and longer than a couple paragraphs.
