This Month in Haikupedia — May 26, 2024

The Haiku Foundation welcomes you to Haikupedia!

This month, new additions to the database include the long bio of the late British poet Chris Boultwood, and short bios of Marilyn Humbert (Australia) and Arvinder Kaur (India). Do take a look through the British Haiku Society’s Museum of Haiku Literature Award, which has been given to the best poem in each issue of the Society’s quarterly journal, Blithe Spirit, since 1992. Behind the scenes, Haikupedia editors are continually updating existing articles, such as the short bios of American writers Johnnie Johnson Hafernik and Beverly Acuff Momoi, British poets Graham High, Diana Webb, Frank Williams, and David Bingham, as well as the main Haiku North America article.

We welcome your feedback and involvement. If you have suggestions, comments, or note any errors, please contact the editors using the Haikupedia Contact Box. We look forward to reading your reactions to and ideas for this important project.

  1. As always thanks to you Theresa and the wider THF team for the work you do in keeping us informed and up to date within the world of haiku. It was great to see a fellow Aussie featuring in Haikupedia and to note the changes in western haiku since 1992 as documented by the British Haiku Society.

    1. Thank you, Carol, for your generous words. It’s always great to get feedback from readers and users of Haikupedia, especially positive comments like yours!

      Best regards,
      Theresa
