This Month in Haikupedia — January 30, 2022
The Haiku Foundation welcomes you to Haikupedia!
We dive into the new year and debut a miscellany of bios. We begin by taking a look at the short bios of Bulgarian haiku poets Vladislav Hristov and Vessislava Savova. An Painter‘s long bio focuses on the life of an American writer of the 1960s through the 1980s. Several American haiku poets of note are now found among Haikupedia’s extensive biographical offerings: Marjorie Buettner, Gerald Conforti, Charlotte Digregorio, John J. Dunphy, Lee Gurga, Bill Kenney, Horst Ludwig (German-American), Lori A Minor, Patti Niehoff, Zhanna P. Rader (Russian-American), Charles Rossiter, Julie Schwerin, and Valorie Broadhurst Woerdehoff, as well as Canadian poet Michael Dudley. Keith Evetts, British poet and editor of THF’s re:Virals feature, and Australian-British haikuist Katherine Gallagher round out the roster of this month’s featured writers.
We welcome your feedback and involvement. If you have suggestions, comments, or note any errors, please contact the editors using the Haikupedia Contact Box. We look forward to reading your reactions to and ideas for this important project!
