This Month in Haikupedia — January 29, 2023

The Haiku Foundation welcomes you to Haikupedia!

As we ease into 2023, Haikupedia ramps up with articles detailing Haiku North America 2011, held in Seattle, Washington, as well as the annual Polish International Haiku Competition. Two new long bios are ready for your perusal, of American writers Joseph Kirschner and Matthew Louvière. Please take a look at the recently added short bios of Bangladeshi haiku poet Quamrul Hassan; Bulgarian writers Darina Deneva and Diana Teneva; Polish poet Robert Kania; Japanese-British haijin Erica Facey; and Americans Stephen Amor, June Rose Dowis, Linda Papanicolaou, Robin Anna Smith, and Barbara Snow. As well, updates have been made to the European Top 100 Most Creative Haiku Authors and the San Francisco International Rengay Contest. Yes, we’ve been busy!

We welcome your feedback and involvement. If you have suggestions, comments, or note any errors, please contact the editors using the Haikupedia Contact Box. We look forward to reading your reactions to and ideas for this important project!
