This Month in Haikupedia — April 24, 2022

The Haiku Foundation welcomes you to Haikupedia!

This month, the pickings are small but very satisfying! From America, the short bios of haiku poets Connie R Meester and Howard Lee Kilby stand out. From “down under,” Australian poet Carol Reynolds is featured along with Illawong Haiku Group of Illawong, south of Sydney. We also take a look at senka, a five-line haiku-tanka hybrid form created by American poet Carrow DeVries in the 1980s. A concise write-up on Haiku North America 1995, held in Toronto, Ontario, is now at hand for your perusal.

We welcome your feedback and involvement. If you have suggestions, comments, or note any errors, please contact the editors using the Haikupedia Contact Box. We look forward to reading your reactions to and ideas for this important project!
