THF Weekly Haiku Puzzler #118
This is the solution for the final THF Weekly Haiku Puzzler. Many thanks to Anita Krumins for more than 2 years of bafflement and fun.
Last week’s puzzler:
She drank rum instead of rye most of the time. Cheers!(7)
And its solution:
Anita Krumins
Contestants who got the correct answer were (in order received): Roberta Beary, Polona Oblak, Theresa Cancro, Shrikaanth Krishnamurthy. (And in keeping with the spirit of the puzzle, the first initial of the surnames of our first 4 puzzle solvers spells “bock” . . .) Sandra Simpson, Marietta McGregor.
Anita Krumins, former Assistant Editor of Frogpond, hosts the weekly cryptic haiku puzzler every Tuesday on Troutswirl, The Haiku Foundation blog.
Good fun! Even if sometimes it was a @#%! from me. Thanks Anita.
Alas, all good things must come to an end. Thank you, Anita, for all the fun and head-scratching! I agree, Tuesdays won’t be the same without these puzzlers.
I, too, will miss this. It has been a highlight of my Tuesday mornings for a while now. Thank you, Anita, for coming up with many challenging puzzlers and posting them here.
