The Haiku Foundation thanks its generous patrons from Thanksgiving to St. Nicholas’s Day with special presentations of work accomplished during the past year, and invites everyone to contribute to our continuing success by donating during our Fundraiser.
THF Fact of the Day: In 2022, The Haiku Foundation’s day of celebration, International Haiku Poetry Day, inspired nearly 40 new haiku films, and added a new Student Category. These were presented during the annual HaikuLife Haiku Films Festival, the only one of its kind; and more than 350 poets took part in the Earthrise Rolling Haiku Collaboration. International Haiku Poetry Day is managed by THF president Jim Kacian.
