THF Celebration Fortnight 2017 — Day 3

organizationThe Haiku Foundation thanks its generous patrons from Thanksgiving to St. Nicholas’s Day with special presentations of work accomplished during the past year, and invites everyone to contribute to our continuing success by donating during our Fundraiser.

THF Fact of the Day: In 2017 The Haiku Foundation published two new volumes: At the Top of the Ferris Wheel: Selected Haiku of Cor van den Heuvel, created by Cor van den Heuvel, designed and produced by THF president Jim Kacian; and Juxtapositions 3.1, edited by a staff led by Senior Editor Peter McDonald and designed and produced by Red Moon Press for The Haiku Foundation. Cor’s book joins Allan Burns’ anthology Montage: The Book, and Donna Bauerly’s biography Raymond Roseliep: Man of Art who Loved the Rose. Juxtapositions is the scholarly and research journal of The Haiku Foundation.
THF Video of the Day: Charles Trumbull reads from Donna Bauerly’s Raymond Roseliep and L. A. Davidson’s My Fifty Favorite Haiku (both of which he edited), Sonia Coman-Ernstoff’s Passages, and new translations of Shiki
