Survey Says . . . THF Organization
Every September the Board of Directors and Associates of The Haiku Foundation are sent a survey. Their responses help to guide our growth and direction. We’d like to broaden our input, and so we’ll be asking you to respond to a series of questions, one per week, over the next half-year. Your replies will be weighed in our assessment of our performance.
Today’s question: Organization
Nominally the organization of the foundation consists of the board of directors, the officers, the committees, the associates and the volunteers (we are not a membership organization). In practice, the bulk of the work falls upon the shoulders of a few. We would like to involve the associates more directly, to put committees in place and find chairpersons for them, and to identify and engage more volunteers. An overview of this organizational plan can be found on the website.
Please assess how well The Haiku Foundation is delivering on this topic. Indicate your assessment of our performance to date by choosing one of the options:
Excellent
Good
Fair
Poor
Abandon
Please feel free to add additional comments. Thank you in advance for your consideration, and for helping us make The Haiku Foundation a better resource.

This unique auction site not only sells i – Pads, but all the high end items you can think
of, which includes; PS3s, Xbox 360s, i – Phones, TVs, Laptops and more, all for similar
savings. Thus, it is very crucial when shopping online that you place extra caution when giving private and financial
information and facts. If the “https” is not present, then fraud is a possibility; your data is not guaranteed safe

Excellent work has been done here at THF from the board, staff, instructors and the volunteers. Thank you all for your time and hard work to keep this organization going. Much appreciated.
It’s amazing how much the Foundation accomplishes with so few resources and volunteers. Volunteer! Volunteer!
THF is well-organized. Along with Jim Kacian, I serve on the Education Committee. Jim is the editor for the Education Resources page, which THF published about two years ago. Several haiku poets, teachers, and scholars have added their work. We also link to other resources; JUXTA is the most recent example. The age range is from Kindergarten to Higher Education and lifelong learning.

I look forward to the day when there is a Chairperson for the Education Committee. And thank you to all who helped us begin and grow the Education Resources feature, and/or who share the work informally and formally with others who may be interested.

Hope to hear the thoughts of other volunteers, who work in the many other areas at THF, as well.
