Today’s question: The Haiku Foundation Gift Shop

Inaugurated in 2015, The Haiku Foundation Gift Shop offers a range of haiku-related books and other publications, cards, gifts and oddments unique to the genre. Not only does this meet the need for haiku-themed products for a niche clientele, it also serves as a fundraising vehicle for the Foundation. The Haiku Foundation relies upon donations for its funding and its future, and the THF Gift Shop is one way to create a revenue stream. Most of the items to be found in the Gift Shop have been donated by the artists themselves. The Haiku Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)3 charitable organization, and all purchases made in our gift shop are considered donations, and thus also tax-deductible.
