Survey says . . . THF Fundraising
Every September the Board of Directors and Associates of The Haiku Foundation are sent a survey. Their responses help to guide our growth and direction. We’d like to broaden our input, and so we’ll be asking you to respond to a series of questions, one per week, over the next half-year. Your replies will be weighed in our assessment of our performance.
Today’s question: Fundraising
We continue our matching grant program between Thanksgiving and St. Nicholas Day. We also target National Haiku Poetry Day in April in seeking donations. We have gradated incentive items for different donation levels. We don’t plan subsequent crowd-sourcing programs such as the IndieGoGo project held in March-June 2012, and rely on general donations for the bulks of our funds. We do not have a dedicated fundraiser within our corporate structure at this time, but are seeking a grant writer.
Please assess how well The Haiku Foundation is delivering on this topic. Indicate your assessment of our performance to date by choosing one of the options:
Excellent
Good
Fair
Poor
Abandon
Please feel free to add additional comments. Thank you in advance for your consideration, and for helping us make The Haiku Foundation a better resource.

The gifts for “different donation levels” are very nice. Montage: The Book (2010, 2012) is beautiful. (Created and Edited by Allan Burns; Artwork by Ron Moss; Foreword by Peggy Willis Lyles; Book Design by Red Moon Press). I also like THF Flipnotes.
Thank you, Ellen
