Survey Says . . . The Haiku Foundation Fundraiser

Every September the Board of Directors and Associates of The Haiku Foundation are sent a survey. Their responses help to guide our growth and direction. We’d like to broaden our input, and so we’ll be asking you to respond to a series of questions, one per week, over the next half-year. Your replies will be weighed in our assessment of our performance.

Today’s question: The Haiku Foundation Fundraiser

The Haiku Foundation is not a membership organization. It receives no dues. It receives the money it needs to operate primarily from donations from poets, readers, and haiku enthusiasts like yourself. The Foundation sets aside one time each year, between U.S. Thanksgiving (last Thursday in November) and St. Nicolas’s Day (December 6), to ask for your donations. All donors appear on our cumulative Donor Page, and all donors can choose to receive incentive premiums determined by the amount of their giving from the THF Gift Shop. The Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization, so all donations made to the Foundation are tax deductible. Please consider adding The Haiku Foundation to your list of charitable causes you support each year.
