Survey 2017 — THF Digital Library
Every September the Board of Directors and Associates of The Haiku Foundation are sent a survey. Their responses help to guide our growth and direction. We’d like to broaden our input, and so we’ll be asking you to respond to a series of questions, one per week, over the next half-year. Your replies will be weighed in our assessment of our performance.
Today’s question: The Haiku Foundation Digital Library
The Digital Library offers the electronic holdings of The Haiku Foundation to the general public for free. Each year we add substantially to the number of books available in this medium, and prioritize rare, historical, and hard to find books, along with chapbooks which are central to our Book of the Week feature. The Foundation has adopted Omeka software for cataloging and user interface. Our Digital Librarian, Garry Eaton, offers a monthly column, The Librarian’s Cache, to highlight some of the library’s holdings.
