Survey 2017 — Social Media Day

Every September the Board of Directors and Associates of The Haiku Foundation are sent a survey. Their responses help to guide our growth and direction. We’d like to broaden our input, and so we’ll be asking you to respond to a series of questions, one per week, over the next half-year. Your replies will be weighed in our assessment of our performance.

Today’s question: Social Media Day

The Haiku Foundation’s Social Media Day is an opportunity to shift our attention from “the message” and onto the media themselves: Troutswirl, Twitter, Pinterest, the Forums, YouTube, Facebook are all channels we use to reach you, and each member of the haiku community around the world, to share our content, as well as listen to your news. Social media has been increasingly adopted by the haiku community as one of its main communication platforms, be it a new blog post, a Facebook notification, a tweet announcing a feature or the day’s Per Diem: Daily Haiku. If you are not doing so already, please Like our Facebook page, and review it using the star rating system; follow us on Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, and register with our Forums. And of course download our free THF Haiku, the Haiku App. THF Social Media Day is managed by THF Board member Stella Pierides.
