Theresa (re:Virals editor), born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, now resides in Wilmington, Delaware. She began writing poetry as a young child, standard haiku at the age of 17, and has been writing modern English-language haiku, senryu, haibun and tanka for nearly a decade. Her poetry has been published in many print and online journals, including Modern Haiku, The Heron’s Nest, Mayfly, tinywords, Presence, Shamrock, Chrysanthemum, Frameless Sky, Wild Plum, Failed Haiku, Haibun Today, Ribbons, as well as various anthologies. She was the featured poet in the May 2016 issue of Cattails. Her haiku was included in a hole in the light: The Red Moon Anthology of Haiku 2018.
