Dawn Bruce, a poet, short story writer and creative writing tutor lives in a high rise apartment block in Sydney, Australia with views to the Blue Mountains. She is Vice-president of the Australian Haiku Society and a member of Red Dragonflies, a Sydney based haiku group. Dawn is the tutor for Ozku, a small master class haiku group, a tutor for Harbourside Poets, a general poetry group for the U3A, and member of Bowerbirds, a Pearl Beach tanka group. Many of her stories and poems have been published in journals, magazines, anthologies and newspapers throughout Australia, New Zealand, America and Britain.

Books Published: Her three free verse and haiku collections, Stinging the Silence (2003), Tangible Shadows (2005), and Sketching Light [containing tanka and haibun too] (2008) were published by Ginninderra Press, Australia.
