I hold a Ph.D. in education and currently supervise graduate research projects at Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC. I have published over 250 haiku and related forms of poetry in over 30 journals from ten different countries. I have recently, as of 2010, returned to writing haiku after a fourteen-year hiatus.

Awards and Other Honors: First Place, the Haiku Society of America’s Renga Competition (1994) [“after the thunder,” written with Joanne Morcom and Sister Mary Jane MacPherson].

Books Published: Frogs Singing (Duck Island Press, Calgary, AB, Canada, 1993) [20 pages, paperback].
