even with
    my eyes closed
        the white lily

psychward
moonlight
climbs the walls

from reed to reed
a blackbird follows
                              its song

apples in bud
a white lie
about her complexion

dawn breeze
leaf shadows
on her freckles

edge of the reeds
a rattlesnake pair
tails whispering
