Selected Work

dead coreopsis―
little seed find your way back
the earth is still warm

red cirrus blankets
hang on the horizon taut―
sun like a clothespin

night of rain
the darkness pooling
in our eyes

rocks trapped in a stream
singing a song home
one grain at a time

time changes
one more hour
to grieve you

last leaf of the maple
cups the last star in the sky―
is this love
