Born: October 09 1946 in Seattle Washington, United States of America

I'm a life-long Japanophile and fan of Japanese culture. I've spent some years in Japan working with a theatre group there, that toured throughout Japan, the U.S. and played the Olympics Arts Festival in Barcelona in the 90's. I've always written poetry as a hobby since my teens, and have focused on haiku and related forms for the last fifteen years. I joined a haiku mentorship group sponsored by HSA a few years ago, and attend a couple of haiku groups in my area in Denver, and online.
