Tony Burfield lives with his wife in the foothills of Colorado's Front Range and works at the Boulder Public Library.

Fledge Chapbook Award from Middle Creek Publishing, 2017; 1st prize in the Green Fuse Press Chapbook Contest 2010; 2010 Pushcart Nomination; Editor's Pick, Scifaikuest, August 2013; Recipient of the 2018 Collom Memorial Scholarship for Writing & Ecology from the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics; Semi-finalist for the 2020 Gerald Cable Book Award.
