Daniela Misso is an Italian haiku poet. She lived in Milan since she was thirtyfive years old where she obtained the Master Degree in Foreign Languages and the Teaching Degree in Spanish Language and Civilization. Currently she lives in a medieval village, San Gemini, in Umbria, with her son Gabriele and her husband Edoardo, enjoying and observing nature.
As a result of her physical disability Daniela began to write, for her friends and family, short poems, nursery rhymes and lullabies accompanied by her watercolors. Haiku crossed her path recently, in 2019. From that moment Daniela begins to study this poetry, which fascinates her so much. She has had some haiku published in Italian anthologies as well as journals, blogs and e-zines worldwide. Daniela is a member of the British Haiku Society. In 2020 and 2021 she was selected among the 100 most creative haiku authors at European level by the Haiku Euro Top. She is author of the book Connessioni Sottili. Haiku, ed. FusibiliaLibri, 2022.
