Born in Campobasso (in the south of Italy), in 1976, she is a Latin and Italian Language and Literature teacher in the prestigious Liceo Classico Vincenzo Monti, in Cesena (Romagna, Italy), where she lives with her husband Valerius Raimondi and her daughter Lorelei. She is an award-winning haijin and poet, as well as a novelist and a essayist; her works have been featured in several international literary journals and columns (e.g. The Haiku Foundation, Otata, Modern Haiku, The Mainichi, Asahi Haikuist Network, NHK Haiku Masters, Chrysanthemum, GONG, The Mamba, Blithe Spirit, Presence, Haiku - Revista and many more). One of her English haiku has been displayed for one month (March 2018) in Washington D.C. (USA). Selected several times among European Top 100 Creative Haiku Authors in the past three years, she regularly gives lectures and workshops on haiku and Japanese-inspired poetry, as well as on the Heian Literature, especially about Joryū Nikki Bungaku, that she greatly admires. She attended the 9th World Haiku Association Conference (Parma, 8-10 Sept. 2017) and the 10th World Haiku Association Conference (Tokyo, 13-15 Sept. 2019), with a reading of her haiku. She has published two western-styled poetry collections – Giochi d’Aria (Rupe Mutevole Edizioni, 2010) and Lustralia. Abluzioni Liriche (LunaNera Edizioni, 2016), a symbolic prosimetrum – and two multilingual haiku collections – La carezza del vento (LunaNera Edizioni, 2018) and Hatsuyume (La Ruota Edizioni, 2019) – in which all the translations are made by renowned native speaking poets all over the world.
