Michael Blaine

Michael is founding editor of the Delmarva Review and co-editor of the online Delaware Poetry Review. He is a 2006 Delaware Fellowship of the Arts recipient in Poetry. Born in Oxford, Mississippi, he grew up o the Eastern Shore, and then returned to Oxford to study English at Ole Miss. He holds a master’s degree in English from Salisbury University. He currently teaches at his high school Alma Mater and evening English classes at Delaware Technical and Community College. He lives in Seaford, Delaware with his wife and two children (one more in late June 2010).

Awards and Other Honors: Michael's chapbook Murmur (bay Oak Publishing) was winner of the 2005 Dogfish Head Poetry Prize.
