Selected Work

cicada song
the sleeping bag's
long zipper

the way she braids
her long gray hair
winter evening

mother and daughter
each in her own thoughts
fireflies

half moon
the band shifts
into a darker number

rain-heavy sky
another contraction
coming on

the smoothness
of my lover's face—
snowy evening
