Selected Work

twilight on the quay
waves are murmuring through
fisherman’s tales

rumors of war
on the white tablecloth
a crushed strawberry

empty net―
fisherman shakes the ashes
from a cold pipe

Quidditch
the stuntman watches himself
from a wheelchair

budded orchard
silence bursting into
the oriole’s song

window ajar . . .
curtain catches the shapes
of the autumn wind
