Nadezhda Stanilova works as an English teacher and has published two books of rhymes and tales for children. She's interested in short Japanese forms. She's been writing haiku since 2013 and her work has been published in World Haiku Review, Sharpening the Green Pencil, Sonic Boom Journal, Brass Bell: A Haiku Journal, Ershik, and other haiku journals. Her haiku have won awards in several international and local haiku contests.

Awards and Other Honors: First Prize, Liternet & Runs Magazine Flash Fiction Contest (Bulgaria, 2011); Honorable Mention, World Haiku Review (January 2015); 7th Place, Indian Kukai (September 2015).
