I began writing haiku in 2007 after reading The Haiku Apprentice by Abigail Friedman. I enjoy studying Ikebana and the art of origami. I live with my husband, Bob and six rescue cats. I also volunteer my time with our local cat rescue organization.

Awards and Other Honors: Runner-up Haiku Calendar Contest (Snapshot Press, 2009)
