Per Diem/Daily Haiku for September 2021: Dreams
Per Diem: Daily Haiku for September 2021 features Gregory Longenecker’s collection on the theme of ‘Dreams’. This is what Greg has to say by way of an introduction to this theme:
Dreams are, by their very nature, hard to define, to grasp; even to remember. Some people remember their dreams, others report they never dream; some people talk about the color in their dreams and others only dream in black and white. Defining dreams begins with the concept of experiencing images, ideas and emotions in sleep, but there’s more. There’s the notion of a reverie, abstraction, ambition, desire and hope. And think of the many terms with which we combine it: daydream, dream catcher, dream house, dream job, dream land, pipe dream and on and on. Please enjoy puzzling over the meaning of September’s dream haiku.

Dear Tsanka Shishkova.
we are drawn into a different world, wonderfully drawn; attic is vivid here before us.
