Nominate a Poem for a 2018 Touchstone Award

The Touchstone Awards, the highest accolades in the haiku field, are now accepting nominations for 2018.

The Touchstone Awards aim to recognize the best haiku published each calendar year, individually and collectively. It’s time now to reflect on your favorite English-language haiku published during 2018. Send us two of your favorites, one of which may be your own work.

As in past years, we will ask journal editors to send us English-language haiku they published during the award year. We also invite individuals — you! — to participate using our online form. Your nominations must have been published in a juried paper or online journal or recognized in a haiku contest in 2018. Self-published haiku and/or haiku from blogs are not eligible.

Please submit your nominations by year’s end and please give complete citation of journal issue and number, or full name of the contest (no acronyms!).

Current and past award-recipients are showcased in the Touchstone Archive.

You can find more information on eligibility and how to submit nominations here.
