  1. Virginia Brady Young’s haiku “It isn’t the cold nor the dying leaves, just that the birds have flown” is a wonderful and timeless image. Its wistul voice should, I think, resonate with most readers – young and old. It certainly moved me deeply and touched a cord in my heart.
