Haiku of the Day for December  2024 features Guest Editor Jackie Chou’s collection on the theme of Reflection. This is what Jackie has to say by way of introduction to this theme:

I chose this theme for December because I have read haiku in various journals that utilize fascinating images of reflection. I did put out a call to collect the poems.  The ones I selected either contained an unusual image, like the following:

Eiffel Tower
in those black sunglasses
her silhouette

Or, if the poet chose a more traditional image, a lake, a mirror, etc., they were able to take that image to a new level with a surprising twist.
