International Haiku Poetry Day 2023 — One Month Away!
IHPD is almost here — just one month to go till April 17! We look forward to your participation in this year’s event. Here are the details so far:
HaikuLife Haiku Film Festival.
Time to be pulling your haiku film together. We look forward to sharing your HaikuLife, video haiga, or other haiku video production with the haiku community. In-hand deadline: 10 April.
EarthRise Rolling Haiku Collaboration.

Over the machinery
the moon shines bright —
not a soul about
Plan to share one poem or many in the world’s largest collaborative poem.
Local Haiku Celebrations.
We want to hear about how you celebrate International Haiku Poetry Day in your own communities. Send us the details and we’ll list your event as part of the IHPD2023 celebrations. Information deadline 10 April.
