  1. How long should be the video? Do we need to read one haiku (for 17s as mentioned in your video) or compile 17 of our haiku?

      Thanks for noticing this, and we’ll try to correct it as soon as possible. We hope you’ll be sending us something in this category, or in HaikuLife format, for IHPD 2016.

  2. I’ll be giving a reading at the Mount Angel Abbey Bookstore in Mount Angel, Oregon on that day.

  3. This is a lovely coincidence: on April 17 I will be reading a selection of Sydell Rosenberg’s work at a poetry event organized by the Queens Botanical Garden in the borough of Queens, NYC. This is our second year working together. A number of Queens poets will read their work, but I believe I’m the only one presenting haiku. This public event will be geared to an all-age audience, I believe, and may be complemented by a tour of the QBG. I can provide more details when I have them. I’m delighted to be doing this on — of all days in April, which is National Poetry Month — April 17!
