3. Don read this to me last night when the lights were low and I was snuggled in bed..
   I was also on the other side of the Atlantic but the Living Haiku Anthology brought him here. Very moving.

4. It’s good to reread the poems from the 2013 contest. I just reread Jim Kacian’s comments as a judge also.

   I remember when I first read Don Baird’s poem, it went to my heart, bypassing my mind.
