Haiku of the Day Theme for November 2025: Daily Objects
My first lesson in writing haiku was simplicity, however one chooses to interpret it. I chose ‘Daily Objects’ as the theme to deepen this engagement. The seemingly inconsequential objects in our entropic world gain meaning through our constant contention with material joy. Whether it is a pair of ‘lost sunglasses’ or ‘ceramic fish’ in the garden, these daily objects pay tribute to the meaningful found in the small, simple patch of words that form a haiku.
