A dull Summer day . . .
A white gull glides overhead,

brightens up my mood

Ten tracks were made in response to John’s haiku, and here’s my selection for The Haiku Foundation

Track: Year 11
Artist: Hard Wired
Genre: electronic

Let’s start with an upbeat electronic composition created by Norfolk-based artist Hard Wired:

Track: Dull Summer Mood
Artist: Seramind
Genre: ambient

Immersive and evocative, this soundscape by Seramind perfectly captures the mood of John’s poem:

Track: A white gull glides
Artist: 33per
Genre: electronic

This haunting electronic track by 33per evolves gradually, thanks to the combination of carefully-crafted ambient layers.

Thank you for listening. Next week we’ll be selecting music inspired by Arii Shokyu-Ni:

is part of the job . . .

rain in spring
