Haiku Music Challenge 55
Welcome to the fifty-fifth iteration of the Haiku Music Challenge, hosted by Naviar Records.
The new haiku was written by Raymond Stull, a participant in the Haiku Music Challenge almost since day one (here’s a track he made for our 3rd challenge).
Creativity,
for which springtime light is lit
like fire in my mind
What Ray loves most about Naviar Haiku is the freedom to pursue an idea freely to whatever end. Sometimes the poem feels like a soundtrack and other times it evokes jazz, dubstep, rock, or an ambient piece. Sometimes it evens starts as one and ends as another.
Eighteen tracks were made in response to Ray’s poem, and here are the ones I selected for The Haiku Foundation:
Track: Like Fire in my Mind
Artist: Marco Lucchi & Henrik Meierkord
Genre: electronicThis track is a collaboration between two incredibly talented artists and the result is a mesmerizing sonic journey.
Track: I buried the creation in the fire by the hands of the creator
Artist: Spare Chance

Thank you for listening. Next week we’ll be listening to music inspired by another haiku by Unden:
A bird flew past
very close
a white feather fell
