Fundraiser a Success

Hi All:

Thanks to all of you who helped to make The Haiku Foundation annual fundraiser a success. Without counting any checks that might arrive in the next day or two, it appears we took in nearly $5000 for our general fund, which will help us meet our expenses and continue to provide the offerings you’ve come to expect from us; as well as another $1000 for targeted programming. We have also received many kind words about the Video Archive project, which encourages us to pursue it with even more vigor. We are particularly appreciative of the many compliments we’ve received on the video haiga offerings, and would like to encourage you to try your hands at this new twist on an old art. When you have something you’d care to share, please send it to us as we’d like to consider posting it on our blog and website.
