I've been asked to promote this competition which I've respected for many years, especially as it promotes literacy, as well as make the works of Nick Virgilio widely known amongst youngsters/teenagers.

How old are you?

The competition is for these ages:

7th- 12-13 years old
8th- 13-14 years old
High School
9th- 14-15 years old (freshman)
10th- 15-16 years old (sophomore)
11th- 16-17 years old (junior)
12th- 17-18 years old (senior)

As it's a competition it's best if you don't make your entries public in case the haiku judge sees them. :)
