New Renku Sessions is starting

Hi everyone,

Just to let you know that a new Renku Session is starting - we're doing a 12-verse junicho and the last day for submitting candidate verses for the hokku (first verse) is February 12.

There's an Introduction page so you can read up on junicho and renku a little bit, but the hokku for a renku is the only verse in the whole poem that is just like a haiku.

I'm acting as sabaki for the junicho and have asked that poets in the southern hemisphere submit summer verses and those in the northern hemisphere winter verses.

It would be nice to see plenty of people joining the fun. To find out more, click on the Renku Sessions graphic on the Home page.
