In case the US Labor Day weekend snuck up on you (it DID sneak up on me): the Francine Porad contest deadline has been extended to postmark date of September 9.  This year's judge is Ce Rosenow. There's been a number of entries: so there's adequate competition -- but HNW wanted to provide an opportunity for more people to enter. Results will be posted on the HNW website and announced at HNW's Seabeck retreat in October. Details: https://sites.google.com/site/haikunorthwest/porad-haiku-contest
