Haiku Northwest 25th Anniversary Anthology Submission Request

In honor of its 25th Anniversary, Haiku Northwest is requesting submissions for its Anniversary Anthology from all current and former members of HNW

WHO:  For purposes of this submission request, current members of HNW should live in the state of Washington. Haiku poets in other locales who were members of HNW when its area extended to the whole Pacific Northwest are welcome to submit poems as well.

WHAT:  You are welcome to submit up to 10 haiku or senryu and/or 3 haibun.  Submissions may be previously published (with applicable publication credits, as editors will not be able to seek this information out separately) or unpublished work of which you are particularly proud, and that you feel most closely represents your body of work and the genre.  The editors will choose at least one and no more than three haiku and /or one haibun from all submitters.

We are unable at this time to accept haiga, but encourage you to bring it to the Haiku Society of America meeting in Seattle on June 22nd, at the Wing Luke Museum, where this anthology will be unveiled.

DUE DATE:  Submissions are due on April 7, 2013.

Submissions should be sent by e-mail with "HNW 25th Anniversary Anthology" in the Subject line, to Angela Terry with the submissions in the body of the e-mail.  Do not send separate e-mail attachments.  If submissions are sent by regular mail, they must be received by the April 7th date, and sent to Angela Terry, 18036 49th PL N E, Lake Forest Park, WA  98155.  Please include your name, mailing address and e-mail address with your submission.
