Dear Readers,

We have so far had over 1000 hits in 5 days and I believe this signifies that the majority of you are enjoying our new flip format. We are, however, using a basic version of yudu software to facilitate our new format and it is not without its problems. I am aware Flash presents a problem for i-pad and i-phone users and we do not wish to lose our readers who use these devices and have, therefore, been looking into viable alternatives which are cross-platform.

you can view it here

I have managed to find a reasonably priced option which will work on pc, mac and i-pad and have secured a 14 day trial. I am testing this at the moment and will embed the current issue of NFTG into our website later tonight when I am fully satisfied. However, the Gean coffers are not limitless and once the 14 days are up we may have to revert to the basic option.

I am pleased the Haiku Foundation has managed to secure its funding . . . we need a lot less to keep us going. If a small percentage of our 1000 plus readers would consider donating a few dollars (which is no more than the cover price of a standard magazine) you could help us to remain cross-platform. An apple a day . . . as they say!

Details of how to donate can be found here:

Thank you in advance
