Full submission details https://scarletdragonflyjournal.wordpress.com/submissions/

Scarlet Dragonfly Journal is an international, daily journal for poets to share Cherita, Gembun, Haibun, Haiga, Haiku, Hay(na)ku, Monoku,  Rengay, SciFaiku, Senryu, Shahai, Tanbun, Tanka, Tan Renga, Tanshi, Zen, and other Asian short-forms including chained, linked, and collaborative poems.

You may submit up to TWO (2) pieces of unpublished work between the 1st and 25th of each month. Type in the Entry Blocks of the SUBMISSION FORM your ku and the text of each haiga. Use one form for all your entries. Your emailed haiga JPG file will be matched to the entry text in the form.

"Unpublished" works have not appeared online in any format, including blogs and social media, or in print formats, such as journals, chapbooks, anthologies, and books.

We do not do any special formatting except for bold, italics, spacing, and centering.

Any poem that suggests racism, violence, politics, or prejudices will not be considered.

By the 30th of the submission month, you will be notified if your ku was chosen. At that time, if any of your poems are not selected for publication, you may resubmit them in the future or use them as you wish.

To receive daily notifications of our postings, please submit your email address in the SUBSCRIBE box.

Poets published in Scarlet Dragonfly Journal retain the copyrights to their work. By submitting your work to SDJ, you are giving us nonexclusive rights to publish it on this site, to distribute it via electronic media, and to republish it in online collections. There are no fees to enter.

SDJ is accepting third-person biographies. You may include photos, websites, and embedded links in an email to ScarletDragonflyJournal@gmail.com
