A haibun heads up!

Blo͞o Outlier Journal issue #2 will be a haibun only issue.
I have also invited two US haibun writer/editors to join me as guest editors.

Announcements will be made on the Blo͞o blog, which people can follow to receive alerts:
https://bloooutlierjournal.blogspot.com

ONE haibun only submission.
This can be a "shortie" (one short paragraph, one haiku); a medium length haibun, or even a longer haibun (max. 1500 words)

A special dedicated haibun submission email will be created for the submission process.

The submission window will open around mid-April this year, and be open for 7-10 days only.

That gives people TWO months to prepare ONE haibun.

Editors:

He is a Pushcart Prize nominated haibun writer, and a Best Small Fictions nominated haibun writer. Former haibun editor for Blithe Spirit, and founding and chief editor of Blo͞o Outlier Journal, as well as editor-in-chief of The Babylon Sidedoor. Alan is also the co-founder of Call of the Page. Tanka stories too!

It's up to each poet to interpret what we might be looking for, and not know what we might strive to want.

It's about stepping on cracks, or into them, opening a door for us.

Go for it!

If not, no worries. just check the blog from time to time for updates.

Around mid-April the new submission email for haibun etc... will be created and details will be posted. So there's still a good five weeks or so to have a go!
