Does anyone know if the IAFOR Vladimir Devidé Haiku Contest is going on in 2019? Can't find submission info anywhere.

Just curious:  Anyone heard about the results for 2015 ukiahaiku contest? Winners were supposedly announced in late April but no listing on the web site and no replies for the contest organizers...

I received a semi-finalist and an honorable mention...but only the top three winners are posted on their site so far...

Does anyone know anything about the status of Haiku Pix Review? The last issue was due out Oct. 1. I have emailed the editors Marie J. Kasprzak and Tad Wojnicki a few times but have received no replies.

Thanks for any news...

Regards,

Mark E.

Hello,

I have recently begun submitting my haiku for publication and have noticed that several outlets will not accept material that has previously appeared on sites such as FaceBook and Twitter. Some of these outlets further say that they will accept submissions of haiku that have appeared on "private online forums."

My first question: Would The Haiku Foundation's "mentoring" site be considered a private online forum?

Second question: If in the revision process I change a word or two of one of my haiku that has appeared on a site like FaceBook (but otherwise keep the haiku unchanged) would it then be acceptible for me to submit the haiku?

Thanks in advance for the feedback...

Regards,

Mark E.
