New to Haiku: Free Discussion Area / Basho's Sora
February 15, 2012, 12:53:22 AM
I've been looking for Tabi Niki by Basho's traveling companion Sora. I don't think I can learn enough Japanese to do my own translation, but I cannot find an English translation to look at anywhere, in print or online.

I've taught Basho's Norrow Road to World Lit. classes for a couple of years and would really like to see Sora's description of the travels for myself.

Are there decent English language resources already available, or will I have to save up my precious pennies and commission my own translation?
