I'd like to extend an invitation to all lovers of haiku to take a look at the Tanka Society of America's Facebook page. We have posted and are posting wonderful tanka from TSA members whose poems received awards in the 2016 Japan Tanka Poets' Society contest. A previous feature called "Journeys into Tanka" includes descriptions of how accomplished writers found or added tanka to their writing practices.
